Harbaugh continues to demonstrate that he is trash...

He was 17 and 20 after three years. His last year he was 12 and 1.

He leaves because everyone he works with can't tolerate his act after about 4 or 5 years.

As I have said repeatedly, he'll be gone within the next 4 years. He better win his title this year.

I never said he couldn't recruit, but he certainly has shown (at both Stanford and Michigan) - just like any other coach - he can't with without decent talent.
Something we can agree on. Maybe? Just like any coach won't win a lot without decent talent. I think that's always a pretty darn true statement. Again no matter who the coach is.

Coaching does make a difference for as well as talent. See the OSU team filled with talent that Fickle coached for a year. That was some ugly coaching.

Oh, and since he left, they have gone 54-14 through last year.
Can you really not look at those numbers in proper context?

Stanford was a dumpster fire when he took over. They won 1 game the previous year. He built that program into a winner and left it in good hands. Anyone who criticizes JH for his coaching at Stanford is simply crazy.

Then the A.D. and admin at Stanford....is simply crazy.

They despised him.

I think you're assuming a few things in this post. He wanted to try coaching in the NFL so he left Stanford. I wouldn't say Franklin bailed on Vandy to go to PSU because he didn't want to take a step backwards after a couple good seasons. I would say he left because it's a step up and a better job. Same kind of thing basically

Franklin clearly stated why he took the PSU job (and took a pay-cut relative to Vandy's "counter-offer" to do it) - Franklin grew up in Pennsylvania, was a PSU fan, dreamed of playing football at PSU, but ended up playing DII football in Pennsylvania (where he was an AA-type player).....he said that his "Dream Job" was always PSU, but he never thought it would happen......he said, "I'm just a Pennsylvania boy with a Penn State heart" about his decision to take the PSU job over Vandy's larger counter-offer. So James Franklin didn't SAY quite what "you would say" why he left Vandy despite being offered an over $5 million per year counter-offer and more than what PSU offered.

They very well may not like him (not like you have any clue what you're talking about) but that wasn't the point. There is no doubt they applaud his record. Try to keep up.

Nice argument "Like you have any clue what you are talking about".

I have FACTS from REPORTERS. What do you have, lunatic?

Like I said, better win it all this year: You lose most of your team next year, and your admin will be fed up with your creepy, intrusive, obnoxious coach in 3 years to the day from now. I have history and facts on my side to prove it. You have nothing.

Nobody said he couldn't coach, what people said is that he has shown that he can't work miracles without a talented roster -- no coach can. Hair-ball had a much more better roster than PSU this year, especially in terms of "experienced talent" that had been in the program for more than 3 years (i.e., really good 4th and 5th year players - the diametric opposite of PSU) - this became particularly so when PSU's 2-Deep got decimated in their first 3 weeks such that PSU was missing double digit players from their 2-Deep when they went on the road in the Michigan game! Claiming PSU's roster being decimated by UNJUST sandtions and then getting double-wammy'ed by injuries was "no factor" in a road game like this is beyond stupid.

But, prior to arriving at Stanford the best recruiting class they had of the previous four years was ranked 42nd. He showed immediate improvement and had those kids in an Orange Bowl in 4 years.

As for the rest of your post... WTF are you talking about. None of that has anything to do with anything I posted nor did I make any of those claims. Seriously strange rambling...

There is a reason every PSU poster on this board thinks your a dimwit. Thanks for proving why, yet again.

Wrong again moron. It's a little group of haters and the most respected people on this board, such as Sluggo, and many others, will tell you the same. Keep trying.

Now, go worship at the Harbaugh altar some more, fan boi.

Oh, and by the way, that last post I made, said everything that EVERY PSU fan, and fan from any other school, would agree with.

Obviously JH can flat out coach. There is no denying that he is really good. But, honestly, you can't feel good about the shenanigans that this guys pulls. The incidents I cited from the Illinois game are by no means isolated incidents. Karma is going to come back and bite him in the ass some day.

You really are determined to be Head scUM "Spin Moron".....carry on, you've exceeded my spin-meister idiot quotient yet again.

He's the Kim Kardashian of coaches (with a moderate psychotic ailment thrown in)

Some folks love them some Kim Kardashian

Different strokes for different folks

Lets get back to the original post, Fake punt up 34 to 0? Is that or is that not a douche move? I vote that it is.

Honestly, I do not care what any PSU fans opinion is on this which is why I haven't responded to any of the posts on this topic. But, since you asked, I love it. I love his killer instinct/attitude. If it pisses people off, so be it.

I think the vast majority of people (like 99.99%) would say this is not only a douche move, but a completely UNNECESSARY douche move.

"Unnecessary" sure. But it gives Urban one more thing for which he has to prepare. Same as showing a two point conversion off of kick formation. The more plays, formations, etc you show, the thinner your opponents' preparation is stretched.

Complete nonsense, Lovie Smith and the Illinois kids don't deserve this jerkoffs nonsense - I'm sure Lovie Smith probably said the same thing Pete Carroll said to him, "What's your deal, anyway?". Hair-ball is a classless childish brat, nothing else.

Harbaugh is getting some big time recruits and he is what he is. The guy can flat out coach.

Killer instinct?
It's more like mutilating a corpse.

You'll love it even more when it pisses off his bosses and they part ways with him.

In about 3 years from now.
