Highest Graded Offensive Lineman from 1st round of CFP.

Good for Rucci.

How did LT Drew Shelton score in this evaluation?
He got absolutely trucked by an SMU rusher on one particular play that was replayed.
I believe that the announcer referred to it as a 'pancake'. A term usually reserved for blocks by OL.

If you get caught off balance and someone as big and strong as gives you a hard shove at the right moment.....Mr Shelton could attest to that.

Yeah, I thought SMU had talent on the D-Line. They were tough to run against initially and also had a decent pass rush.

PSU wore them down in the run game. Good work by Kaytron and Singleton, esp. in 2nd half, and some holes to run thru.

Really impressed with the sudden development of Nolan Rucci— Trautwein gets a lot of credit— all of a sudden a light went on and he is a beast!

Re-watch the play, was not Shelton, he bumped over to right tackle. Try 56.

Shelton has been solid at LT. I haven’t heard any draft buzz about him, but I would think he’s a mid round pick this year and a second day pick if he is solid again next year.
PFF has him in the mid-50s--significantly below Donkoh and Rucci who are in the high 60s
Ioane and Wormley are solid. Dawkins surprising low. None broke 70 though

Do you none of our guys hold?
I dont know why you need an example when you watch games unless your bias prevents you from admitting we hold too
Did I say none of Penn State players hold? You keep beating a dead horse and doubling down on your asinine positions repeatedly. This started with you trying to “justify” what you admitted were obvious holding calls against Carter and Dani Sutton in the Oregon game which weren’t called by claiming that Rucci was repeatedly holding during the game even though it wasn’t as obvious because it was “still holding”. Sorry but you simply can’t justify an official standing right there and not calling holding on a player who has his arm around a player’s neck as he is about to get free (as was the case on Saturday when Carter still got an 18 yard sack despite being grabbed around the neck) by saying that “technical holds” also aren’t being called. Rucci had the highest PFF rating this past Saturday of all offensive lineman in the 4 college playoff games because he played well not because he was “repeatedly holding”.

I'm not--no holds were called in that game. None. Not one. Where is your confusion?
Yes, we held too as you damn well know but that hurts your argument
Rucci holding doesn't mean he sucks--ALL LINEMEN HOLD--what are you talking about?
Did Rucci get a perfect score? No--because he holds--like ALL LINEMAN--which part of the reason none have a perfect score. He's in the 60s for the year. That's mid at best--which is improvemnt for him and great for us with Donkoh out (who also struggled)
I don't know what point you think you're making. Rucci, Dawkins, Wormley, Ioane, Shelton, Donkoh, etc ALL HOLD. All of them. Just like EVERYONE on Oregon.
Were we called for holding against Oregon? if not, you agree they didn't call ANY holding penalties--correct? If so, you have no argument
Your inability to accept our guys also have an advantage in the Big Ten because they hold is absurd--but par for the course here
Penn State does nothing wrong--everyone is out to get us

Obviously reading comprehension is not your strong suit among many others. It’s a simple proposition; of course all offensive linemen hold but some are more egregious and obvious than others. Only clowns like you try to defend not calling penalties on obvious holds by saying those situation are no different than technical holding. As my late father used to say; if you had a clue you could be dangerous.

We have a lot of options for next years OL with almost everyone coming back. Hope we can hold on to
Williams, and Birchmeier; Cousins is already in the mix. Will he be our center next year?

Egregious and obvious is irrelevant. A hold is a hold. Not one you deem more obvious.
The fact you're still not comprehending this is truly the issue. You know I'm right you just hate the logic

Didn't take long for your absurd comment. Your clear point was to demean Rucci's PPF grade, NOT that all players hold!! You are a special LIAR BOZO!
What are you talking about?
I talked about his holding against Oregon
And yes Rucci, like all OL, hold
Why don't you comprehend that?

Agree, he certainly needs another year.

You aren't Einstein goofy. The thread was simple, Rucci had the best PFF grade and then like your stupid idiotic moronic comments about Pribula you turn it into Rucci holds. Really.

As we all say you are stupid idiotic moronic and above all a F...COWARD DEMEANING FINE PSU FOOTBALL PLAYERS.
What he said. LOL Give it up, Lando. Everyone is on to you. I think I even heard Mike Tomlin say Lando sucks in his Christmas press conference.

The one play where a LT got run over it was JB Nelson that got pancake'd..... And as I remember looking at the participation stats JB only had 3-6 plays (can't remember...). Nice that Nelson has such OL position flexibility but it seems he's much better inside than at OT.

I've read that Dawkins has another year of eligibility, and given that he waited so long to start I'd be surprised if he didn't use that year in 2025 as PSU starting center. I believe Dawkins did a pretty good job at center and having him back, if he does come back will be big for the offense. If he comes back that likely puts Cousins as the replacement for Wormley at R-Guard.

See above...who started a thread about me?
And Tomlin saying it would further my argument you're wrong

I’m not arguing with you, little fella. I’m laughing at you. Out of genuine human concern I initially thought you might be on the spectrum but it’s obvious you are a troll. A highly committed troll, but a troll nonetheless. It might be time to give all this nonsense a rest. Maybe check in on those imaginary employees.

Yeah, I read somewhere that Dawkins has another year, and, yes, he has been playing well. Noticed him vs Oregon and he did a real nice job on that monster in the middle, Caldwell. Nice options to have with a full house OL; just hope we don't loose anyone that has be waiting for a spot.
