Perhaps they can just give everyone a trophy?There should also be a Dodge award for the highest ranked wrestler who ducks the most ranked openents. In theory if Gable gets caught, which is highly unlikely, Spencer could be in line for a twofer.
PS - Qty of quality matches is taken into consideration. Snyder was potentially affected by this factor. If Spencer wrestlers only the 7 minimum matches as some are specialting, he will probably not win against Gable..... Or Starocci
I'd like to think that's still true, and it should be ... but can't help but wonder if last year created a new precedent -- that the voters are now enabled to claim a tie instead of making a decision.
Honestly, I don't know. Hopefully he is just on a pitch count due lack of ACLs. I'm worried about Warner, Murin and Kemerer aswell. Iowa will need all of them to repeat

Between a brutal conference dual season, conference tourney, and Covid which will probably bite someone, I say the odds of PSU and Iowa fielding their top 10 starters fully healthy through nationals is less than 50%. Iowa aside from Marinelli last year has been pretty lucky. PSU over the last 4-5 years not so much - Suriano, Berge, Shak, Cassar, Conel, Cutch, Howard, Nolf...
I heard he failed the skin check. Found out later it was just liver spots. He talked to his childhood Dr about it and was told a good bleeding with leeches would fix it.
