How many four timers didnt win the Hodge their final year? Dont expect Spencer to set the precedence. It’ll be a tie if not outright. The Hodge lost it’s luster long ago. I kept my sentences short intentionally.
You don’t understand? It’s actually pretty simple when you look at the criteria.
1. pins - Spencer
2. Dominance - Spencer (higher bonus)
3. Wins - Gable (17 vs 12)
4. Strength of schedule - Gable
5. Past credentials - Spencer
6 Character - Spencer (no rape charges)
7 heart - Spencer (0 ACLs)
So 5/7 criteria go to Spencer. Only someone truly biased cannot understand this.

careful on #6 - social media can run wild (among other things) - we have a lot of innocent victims although no fault of their own. Of course, some are unlucky and go against the "don't put yourself in that position" rule of thumb.

Lifetime Achievement Award. If he wins his 4th, the voters will at worst shoehorn in another tie with Steveson.
Love the thought of him winning HWT, but no chance at the Hodge with so many seniors.
I don't think they'd even give Nick Lee a sniff unless both Steveson and Spencer lose -- and Nick would be a senior 2x champ with a very high bonus rate.
But if they're gonna force a tie to get 1/4 season Spencer a 3rd, at that point it's a farce, may as well make it a 3 way tie.
