I give a lot of props to them, but they had three big years, which I think we could have soon. The question is will MSU continue its run of one of the best in the Big Ten, or do you think they will fizzle back a little to being just a solid team?
I see a lot of similarities of how MSU built there championship caliber program, similar to us going forward.. MSU went 7 -6 in 2012, the next three years MSU was 2013 13-1, 2014 11-2, 2015 12-2.
But here is the thing There recruiting classes were not all that great leading up to those three great years.
MSU recruiting rankings: 2010 #21, 2011 #32, 2012 #33. Not that impressive.
So two points: If MSU could come off a 7-6 season in 2012 and then go 13-1 next year. There is no reason why we cannot turn our season around in 2016 drastically. I'm not saying 13-1 but you get the picture.
Second Point: If MSU built this great three year run, with recruiting classes ranked #21, #32, #33, We should definitely, with better recruiting classes see a huge improvement.
