Penn State won last year with 123 with 2nd place Okie State with 97.5. PSU won by 25.5.

How many points will be needed to win it this year?

Just curious what everyone's thoughts are.

How many would be enough to win or how many will winner score? PSU clear favorite - Okie State next. Okie State will score ~115, so 120 would likely be enough, but PSU will score more than that (although Nick's injury in last dual is a bit of a wildcard here).

I'll clarify the question in the OP. How many points will the winner need.

The smart aleck answer is "one more than our opponent". I'm thinking we're good for around 130 or so...and that should win it. What will be needed is closer to 110-115, imho.

The question is how many will the 2nd Place team score given that it was clarified to how many will winning team "need" to win, not how many will they actually score. Somewhat interesting question given that the 2nd place team is likely Okie State....one way you could look at it, is what is there maximum ceiling. The Pokes could score around 120 on the high-side and probably as low 100ish on the low side with a most likely score somewhere in that 110-115 area.

Our success will directly affect the contenders point totals. I think 2nd ends up scoring just about 100, but if we were to only score 105 or so we probably don't win it - if that makes sense.
