Hey everyone. Haven't posted in years. I thought a fun topic would be if the NCAA started the CFP 12 team playoff starting in 2000, how would some of Joe PA and Franklin's teams fared during a 12 team playoff...I'll start...
The 2002 team: If Mills had stayed healthy, and with the magical season LJ was having. I would have said Semi finals. But sadly I think they would get bounced in the 2nd round.
The 2005 team: I think they go to the National Championship, but sadly lose.
The 2008 team: I think they make it to the semifinals. BTW .....how great was Royster that season.
The 2009 team: Bounced in the 2nd round.
The 2016 team: Bounced in the Semifinals.
The 2017 team: I think they make a legendary run and win the whole damn thing.
The 2019 team: Bounced in round 2.
The 2022 team: Bounced in Semifinals
The 2023 team: Bounced in the 2nd round.
