I didn't say or even imply that you were attacking, just that you were bitching. I also never said or even implied that I was judging an entire fan base on anything. Those are just straw man arguments you put up to further "bitch" about what is posted on BWI.

I've met a lot of Iowa fans over the years and almost all (I would go 99%) were great people and huge wrestling fans.

I don;t think real highly of anyone that claims where they live is Gods country, implying that where I and others live is not.

I'm sure you dont pay much attention to the Iowa/ISU rivalry other than when Cael coached ISU. Fwiw Iowa and ISU fans rip apart each others coaches in every sport. It wouldn't matter if Mother Theresa was head coach.

Most Hawkeye fans truly respect and admire Cael and his accomplishments. A lot of you just focus on the ones that don't. Always remember that the random fans on a message board represent a small percentage of the fanbase.

I completely agree with your last point, and it should always be kept in mind. However, on that board, 95% of the posters show no respect for Cael. They rip him apart or discount his accomplishments.

Again, I do understand that message board posters do not represent an entire fan base.

My biggest issue with that board is that there is very little self policing that is done. My guess is that the good posters (like you), probably tried at one point and it got too tiresome. Is there any truth to that assumption?

Seriously? It's beyond dumb and nothing but whining and woe is me. Flo hates us. Everyone stalls but us. Penn State has fun is so stupid, Bull is the best, Lee is definitely sick with something, we just don't k own what, I've talked to sources...yeah, sure you have. Ped State, cheating, slush fund, PED's, Cael can't coach, Penn state just discovered wrestling 10 years ago. That's really big considering Pennsylvania is wrestling. OSU is the king of stalling. That match would have been really close except stalling. Picc did nothing. Flo makes tapes about Lee and how to get out, parallel riding with boots in is stalling. Should I continue? It's old and tired. Thank God wrestlers don't think this utter bs.

Other schools have an uphill climb. Cael can almost pick and chose who he wants. Add in boosters who care and open their wallets with a great wrestling room, and yeah we’re the hotter, smarter , nicer chick with rich parents . Whatever.

Spot on. It's to the point where most of the good posters rarely post anymore. It's now dominated by a pack of butthurt derelicts who think that the wrestling world revolves around Iowa City. Their mods could make an attempt to clean it up, but I guess they choose not to. It's a shame really.

And he was correct - for reasons unknown, you typically come here to complain about the content on this board. And your "defending" is often passive-aggressive in nature. In addition to this so-called "defending", you frequently post here to stir the pot, and have admitted as much. Overall, it's lame.
