We have very talented and super-great kids on this team! Even though Saquon Barkley likely won't win the Heisman, he is the best athlete and most grounded player I have ever seen at Penn State, and I have seen a lot of great talented kids. He is a combination of super-freak athlete like a Lavar Arrington, with a grounded and likable personality of a John Cappeletti. Trace McSorley isn't the prototypical NFL QB like a Kerry Collins, but has the heart and special scrambling ability of a Chuck Fusina. Gesicki can't block like a Kyle Brady, but can go up and catch a pass like an Allen Robinson! This team has great kids and great coaches who have brought great excitement to Beaver Stadium and have played their hearts out despite 2 losses by a total of just 4 points. Expectations were high coming into this season after last years great finish, and although we won't win the National Championship, we should be proud of what we have accomplished; especially if one thinks back where this program was about 5 years ago!
