Since we don't know much about Idaho football, I thought I'd share this somewhat related story.
When I got to my Navy ship back in the day, I got to know another junior officer who was from North Dakota, but actually graduated from the NROTC program at the University of Idaho. He was a great guy, hell raiser, and party animal. After a night of serious partying in Hong Kong, he actually fell off a railing at Fenwick Pier, hit his head on a fender, and had to have his entire head bandaged just like a mummy.
He said that one of the biggest things to do in Moscow, Idaho was to go down to the local saloon, have a few brews and listen to a band made up of University of Idaho football players named "Hoggie and the Blossoms".
I've been looking for their recordings on Amazon and EBay but haven't found them.
