You made a big deal that UGA jumped #3 PSU because PSU didn't have a signature win, but somehow if PSU beat #4, that would propel them above #2. #math doesn't work there.
Now, take your logic and explain Miami, that now sits at #4 and won't play a ranked team. Guess a signature win isn't actually required, is it? 🤷
Even worse, PSU was snubbed from a 4 team playoff in 2016, but under the same scenario in 2016, they would have been the #3 or 4 seed.
And are we comfortable with that for the next 10 years or for as long that he is here? Companies have performance ratings...below expectations, meets expectations, exceeds expectations, far exceeds expectations. Meets expectations is nothing special, ordinary, middle of the bell curve. You won't get fired but you are not a fast riser either. I guess that is what we have with James. Never will pull an upset, never beat an elite team, never come close to a NC. But hey he can beat Maryland every year.
I never said he would never beat USC. Nice win over USC although as they continue to lose that win is not looking great but give him credit for at least winning it. I guess he exceeded yours yesterday.
We would game been 2...the math works. We'd have had a signature win and been undefeated. Notice Miami is behind 1 loss teams because they don't have a signature win
In 2016 we had two very bad losses. The only argument was Penn State or Washington. We should have been 4...the committee learned since then. See FSU last year.
No I'm not comfortable with that. Saying he's proven he should win out this year and us pretending he losses to teams he shouldn't at this stage is false.
He not only has to make the playoff but win a game this year for it to be successful.
