Were any of those wins against P5 teams?
A win is a win, but it is difficult to spin today's performance into anything but a struggle.
Here's hoping the boys and the coaches learned a lot today and things improve next week.
I sure hope we have Givens back vs. Pitt.
I was hoping J. Johnson would be similar to F. Davis at MSU. Not today. McSorley was 21-36 for 230 yards but his stats could have been much better if Johnson made a few plays. He dropped one easy pass and two longer passes could have been caught. On one he had alligator arms and the other he was pretty well covered but the ball went right through his hands.

They should change their mascot to the Lumberjack for all of the choppin’ they were doing out there.
The App State quarterback was fantastic. He played extraordinarily well. He's just a sophomore and that was his first game. If he keeps playing like that they are going to win a lot of games. That whole team deserves a lot of credit for the way they played today. PSU beat a good team today and were fortunate to do it. Thrilled to be 1-0. Pitt, Pitt, Pitt.
App State has a ton of young players on their squad. That is something to be concerned with.
