As much as I hate, ok that's an unpopular word, so I'll use my triad (abhor, despise and loathe) Iowa, I have to say that was a classless post. They are married and so good for them for starting a family. As an aside, wives aren't "knocked up" by their husbands and you don't know what the situation is with her health, so if she's had inordinate weight gain, I hope she doesn't get gestational diabetes.
My late sister lost a couple babies and when she was in her last pregnancy, she lost another, only to be told "I have good news, you're still pregnant". Unfortunately, she wouldn't see her daughter's third birthday.
Now I always appreciated the efforts of mothers, especially since my own ran out of devices to keep me in line, until she discovered I would always lose my defiant attitude and be reduced to a quivering puddle with "you know, I walked through the valley of death to give you life".
