I am guilty of stoking this fire for far too long. I guess I’m still a little reflexive when I read “Ped State” and other such juvenile banter, especially by people who are too lazy and ignorant to read the long outcome of the scandal…who’s brains just froze in time at the Freeh/original grand jury summation.
But it’s on me to put on the brakes and move on. I’m absolutely exhausted by the simple-minded, slack jawed commentary out of Iowa this week, and it shows in more than one of my exchanges with them. I’m publicly apologizing to any/everyone I’ve childishly slighted this week. I’m too old to be this emotionally charged by their ignorance about all things PSU (past and present), and by this point in my life, should be better at turning the other cheek.
