Look I read both boards and have been around wrestling for 40 years. Sometimes fans, Iowa or others, get on my nerves and I call them out. Isn't this the guy that lost a bet and was supposed to wear an Iowa shirt in his avatar picture. He wore it under another shirt. Tells me all I need to know about him and yes he is a clown.

No I am not. I mostly just read and throw in comments every now and then when I know the answer to something or to crack a joke. I am obviously an Iowa fan but love wrestling in general. I might have posted quickly in this thread without remembering who's board I was on so for all of you I may have pissed off I apologize, I don't want to be that guy. To many back handed comments from the opposing teams on both boards. I have said it before and I will say it again, we all would probably have a great time drinking beers together and talking wrestling.
Welcome to the board. I'm with you in not liking fans of one team trash talking fans of other teams. There are fans from all bases that do that. It's their right, to be sure, but I personally don't care for it--especially if it's PSU fans. Our coaches and wrestlers handle themselves so well, I would like our fans to represent our school in the same way.
Sorry you're not the old Herkey1, only that I enjoyed interacting with him as an ardent Hawkeye fan, very knowledgeable about wrestling.
I agree that I think the vast majority of true wrestling fans of any team, would enjoy interacting with the fans of other teams and talking wrestling.
I dont believe I will be making the trip to NCAA's this year, still curious to see what people say about the view from their seats, but I will make it next year to St. Louis. Maybe next year there is a chance to meet some of you guys if you are in St. Louis for some libations and friendly smack talk between friends? enemies? frenemies? Maybe I will continue to chime in here every now and then but watch what I say.
Herkuleez5--I and many others on this board go to the NCAA's each/most years. It would be a pleasure for us to meet you. I've met a number of Iowa fans at previous NCAA's and enjoyed the interactions. A number of us are going this year and we'll see how the view goes--I'm bringing binoculars and not counting on too great a view. Still, it's something special to be there and interact with all the other fans!
I don't think you shouldn't post. I don't think ironbird or a guy who thinks guys are over ranked shouldn't post. Maybe I got a little defensive because he seems to love tearing down my beloved Hawks and when he didnt follow through with the bet he lost I lost respect. Maybe I went over the edge a little with calling him out but I have a tendency to do that every once in awhile as a passionate fan of my team and the sport. No worries, carry on and enjoy the best wrestling of the season about to happen.

I am pretty sure that I know some of the names of posters you are referring to but can we agree that me calling them out will not deter them? I have called out people on the HR board before and even tried starting a thread where only Iowa and PSU people could bitch back and forth, it didnt work. Does not mean I won't do it again. You and some others like to stir shit over there, some with new handles, so why is me calling out someone over here any different?
