Iowa is going to be a serious test

And I honestly don't know what to expect.

Sure, I can bump my chest and say "look at the talent disparity" between PSU and Iowa. But I've said that before. We escaped in 2017 with an experienced all-American QB and all-world RB, not to mention Hamilton at WR and Gesicki at TE.

I hope the OL and playcalling are up to task for a grind-it-out type of game, and that Clifford and Rahne don't get too impatient for the big play. Hint: if it's 3rd and 3, with the crowd noise at a deafening level, let's not air it out with a low percentage pass play. Just move the chains, and chew up the TOP. 5 yards here, 6 yards there. Let's get Cain going on the ground in the first half, then open up the play action passing in the second.

I really hope our offense will be patient and methodical. And avoid turnovers. They just cannot rush things in a game like this.

Not worried about the defense, unless the O turns it over on a short field. Which quite honestly I can see happening. But I promise I won't blame the D if they're on the field for more than 35 minutes.
