Iowa Trolls are out of control

I cannot believe the number of threads littered with Iowa trolls on this board. Man they must have an inferiority complex. They feel the need to defend booing of injured players and the juvenile histrionics of the coaching staff. All of this after a win. Imagine how cranky they would be after a loss. One thing I will say about tOSU and UM fans is that when they win they act like they have been there before. I never understood the purpose of trolling another team's board. Iowa fans enjoy your win and move on. Mods please take the trash out. There have been very few of these Iowa posters who have not been trolls.

Iowa has wrestling, that is it. Football has a good year here and there but they can’t actually get it done in Indy so what does it matter? Wrestling is Iowa and the Iowa fans hate Penn State, not because of football but because Cael came in and took everything that is dear to them. Then after all the recent pain and torture of watching PSU time after time, they finally crawl back to the top of the team battle in a goofy Covid season and what happens, Cael and the boys rip the spot light right off of them during the finals. They win the title they so badly wanted to get back and Penn State were the stars of the show. I would be crying too if I was a Hawkeye fan, what the hell else is there for those people to do?

Perhaps they are enjoying your whiney-ass tears of pain. They are ranked #2 and are savoring a top-5 win with a remaining schedule that could lead to an undefeated regular season, a chance at the CC and CFP. Reason enough to celebrate and enjoy where they are at. I'd expect a bit of crowing from most fanbases in a similar position.

But keep crying about it, that will make them go away.

Yep. They were mocking PSU last week when it was pointed out that Penn St with Clifford would have won that game easily. They were too delusional to see it and so smug about their win. That’s what makes their loss to a 3-2 (now 4-2) Purdue team today so satisfying.

It’s easy to have your blinders on as a fan, but you need to be able to see clearly. Ohio State fans were saying that they (and Bama) were the only ones that looked like a playoff team after the first week of the season. I pointed out how terrible the defense looked, to which I was mostly ignored or they tried to label me as a hater. A week later, everyone was talking about their deficiencies on defense.

Iowa fans wanted to claim that they were clearly the better team last week, and we all tried to tell them other wise, to which they promptly ignored us or called us haters. Purdue proved our point.
