Iron Lions documentary promo featuring Mauti, Zordich, and Hill(*MUST LISTEN* podcast added 7/12/19)

The whole free agency thing always belied the claims of some who said Erickson had no choice but to sign the consent decree. He was agreeing to a de facto death penalty. There was no good reason to think these kids would stay under the circumstances. You'll never convince me that he and the powers that be weren't trying to put an end to football at Penn State while making it look like they were doing the only thing they could to save it. It's like throwing a cinder block to someone drowning.

Thanks for sharing the preview again. Wow, love the emotion from BOB in the one clip.

Awesome. Too bad it won't be out until 2020. This would have been a great watch before or during the upcoming season, but hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Oh my goodness. I have always been proud of Penn State since I set foot on campus in September 1963. We were dirt poor so PSU without a scholarship was a honored opportunity. These guys were the greatest squad in our history. I regret that as an out of state parent, we could not afford PSU for our three daughters.

This video was washed in many tears.

I don't know all of the details, but my understanding is they are still trying to raise funds.

No offence to Coach Paterno or Coach Franklin, the greatest recruiting class in the history of PSU Football was done by Michael Mauti, Mike Zordich, and Coach O’Brien (and perhaps a few others) in 2012.
The job they did keeping almost every player in State College as the worst sanctions came down on us, when transferring out was never easier, perhaps saved Penn State Football. That squad truly deserves the recognition they’re getting and will never be forgotten.
