Is Crookham out for the season?

He now stands at 8-3. To get an RPI, he'll now need (and likely get) four matches at the EIWA tournament. I would think that is why he was there.
Will he though?

I thought NCAA seeding criteria only counted matches at the postseason weight. Lopes' first 4 matches were at 125 (Princeton Open). He's 6-2 at 133.

What the Last Chance Open did was get him enough matches for a coachea' rank, so with his .750 Win % he can retain the EIWA auto-qualifier spot if Lehigh names him the poatseason starter in time.

Good points. Got ahead of myself (thinking about those guys whose high seeding at NCAAs will be affected by the lack of an RPI.

Come on, Lehigh: choose already!

Was it Pat that went all in on the out for the year message … ?
Yes. He's right in retrospect (and he got info on an injury that is likely season-ending 99% of the time), but he did jump the gun on that, too, because Crookham was clearly holding out hope that just never materialized, probably until minutes before this announcement was made.

I have no inside info on anything Lehigh or Pat but reading the tealeafs I think Pat was talking to people close to Crookham and others info came from Lehigh...
