We’ll never know how costly this loss is to Franklins plans. What we can assume is that this loss will likely derail the LSU and USC hype. For too long, Franklin has played Penn St and it’s fans by refusing to deny interest in other opportunities. Regardless of his intention, it’s a disrespectful move every time. If he feels he doesn’t owe the university and fans more transparency and frankly demonstrate more loyalty, then we shouldn’t hesitate to demand more or even demand a change.

I personally think we deserve better than what we saw today. That was a very poorly coached game. The question to me is…is it capability or effort. Given how frequently we’ve seen these let down games—even tho it might not be to this degree,I tend to believe it’s capability. Maybe it’s time we look elsewhere and find a coach who doesn’t play us or the university with every head coach opening.
