Is Miami going to pursue Seider?

When it comes to Seider possibly leaving, nothing is funny.
There’s very little we can do to control this. I certainly can’t blame Seider for at least exploring the opportunity. All of us do similar from time to time in our careers.

Didnt Seider leave the Gators for the same position up here? If so that would mean he would likely want a large salary increase to go back to Florida. Its not like he left another Northern program to come to PSU.

Seider was facing a unilateral move to TE coach if he stayed at Florida. He chose to pursue other options and ended up at PSU.

Relax, he's referencing Cain showing up in HV.

Seider wont be here long anyway, lets not freak out about it. Just enjoy the FLA kids while it lasts.
Why would you assume that?? My guess is James is in whatever-it-takes mode to keep him. For what it's worth, not everybody is as enamored of the Sweat Belt as some on this board are.

Seider is from Florida. But he went to school at WVU (before transferring as a senior). So it’s not a crazy thought to think he’d return there at some point

(With the benefit of hindsight)

JF stressed the importance of never losing assistants for lateral moves, and Sandy indicated that she gave him the staff budget figure he wanted. Really not as worried about those type of moves going forward, unless LSU wants to pay Pry $2.5 million to be DC or something like that.

He came to PSU because Dan Mullen didn't want him to be his RB coach, so offered him a job at as TE coach. Franklin had already hired Corley to coach RBs, but obviously Franklin thought Seider was too good of a coach to pass up and hired him to coach RBs and moved Corley to WR.

Check any recruiting services and their top 100-300. Post your stats to show the Rust Belt talent. I'll stove top some popcorn and pop open a beer.

Seider leaving to start his own P5 University and Football Program in Ft Lauderdale. All but one Crystal Ball is predicting it. Dohn is still predicting Seider to Miami.
