Could be for us as well. Wouldn’t miss this for anything. Just landed here in Philly. We Are!Yes this actually may be a once in a lifetime chance for SMU

As was stated before, that's either an outright lie by PSU or else there was a glitch and students who tried to apply for tickets were never entered into the lottery. The ticket inventory and pricing are controlled by the CFP. All students who requested tickets by the Friday, Nov. 29 deadline received tickets, and no student requests were turned away prior to the Nov. 29 deadline.
Penn State Students Cry Foul Over CFP Student Section Tickets Being Sold to General Public
Students at Penn State are accusing the school of selling student tickets for the Nittany Lions' upcoming College Football Playoff game against Southern Methodist University to the general public in an effort to increase revenue.www.athleticbusiness.com
Or the students screwed up the request process, and they are the ones mistaken and/or lying. As was stated before, that's either an outright lie by PSU or else there was a glitch and students who tried to apply for tickets were never entered into the lottery.
What? They just made an understandable mistake based upon having no precedent.FIRE EVERYBODY!!!!
Completely false. As was stated before, that's either an outright lie by PSU or else there was a glitch and students who tried to apply for tickets were never entered into the lottery.
Have fun--this isn't a once in a lifetime thing for us--a first in our lifetime but for SMU they may never see the playoff againCould be for us as well. Wouldn’t miss this for anything. Just landed here in Philly. We Are!
And exactly as predicted. As soon as people were reasonably sure there wouldn’t be snow/travel issues they bought tickets.Game now a sellout. Officially making this thread exactly what everyone knew it would be: Ridiculous.
and many company events were planned long before anyone knew Penn State would be playing on 12/21...if it means anything..one would think SMU will have a VERY small crowd in attendance...why travel from Texas..to be in freezing temperatures in a small remote town in the middle of Pennsylvania called..State College...clearly out of all the playoff games..with home field advantage..no one compares to what PSU is getting this weekend...Tennessee will have a good size crowd as well as Indiana...both away games for them..It's Xmas means that people have events associated with the holiday. I absolutely have to attend my work Xmas party that night and I'm livid I'll miss some of the later games but that's life.
This isn't something a true fan would say.Game now a sellout. Officially making this thread exactly what everyone knew it would be: Ridiculous.
Great. Does fewer students mean we won't see the empty seats due to students arriving late?Game now a sellout. Officially making this thread exactly what everyone knew it would be: Ridiculous.
Except there are still LOTS of CFP Official (i.e. non-resale) tickets available.Game now a sellout. Officially making this thread exactly what everyone knew it would be: Ridiculous.

So much wasted energy in here.
Yes. Crowd was loud (TV was mic'd up very well) and caused several issues for SMU.
Also, can we put to rest the "can't do a White Out when it'd cold" narrative? Fans had plenty of white. The snow added to the visual.
It got you guys to get off your asses and comeYou bitched and acted like a whiney little baby non-stop for a week about our fanbase not showing up for this.
It got you guys to get off your asses and come
It got you guys to get off your asses and come
The people that were coming, came. The ones who weren't going to come, didn't. You acting like a child who everyone wanted to throat punch did nothing to change that.
You probably watch porn and shout at the performers to come, and when they do, you take credit for it.
You cried like a baby over and over and over and over and over and over again, and the only thing it accomplished was making people try to figure out where to hide the body.
If PSU had 30,000 fewer seats and played an in state opponent who was buying a bunch of tickets, the resale prices would have high too.
I’m having a hard time figuring out who I want to humiliate, Georgia or Notre Dame in the final 4 round. It’s always nice to see a good SEC beatdown, but I just hate those Irish. They did a lot of smack talking online, particularly about the damn ticket prices as if that meant anything. If PSU had 30,000 fewer seats and played an in state opponent who was buying a bunch of tickets, the resale prices would have high too.
