It’s encouraging to see old PSU-like football again......

albeit in Green & Gold.

If Baylor wins out, after beating Oklahoma tonight, and if Oklahoma wins the rest of its games...do they play again in a B12 championship game?

If Franklin ever leaves or quits, I want someone who runs a pro-style NFL offense. So f'n tired of every play out of the shotgun (I know, I know - I would have killed for the SG formation from Joe in the early 2000's.)

How many Pro-Teams are under center now? I can't think of any.
But give Franklin's PC a listen he does a very good job of explaining it at the end.

It doesn't have to be all the time. Just something more similar to what OB ran here. Maybe it's the 'RPO' that I don't like...

Matt Ruhle’s next gig is in the league. He wants to be in the NFL. IF for some reason CJF LEFT Psu and we got Ruhle (because an NFL team didn’t take him this year) he would be Bill O’Brien 2.0 and be gone for the NFL first chance he gets.

I observed a ton of mistackles today. So why exactly did we need a 9 minute drive to eke out a win against the mighty Hoosiers?
When I was a freshman we lost to Rutgers. That team couldn't tackle, run, pass, block, etc. Should have fired Joe then, right?

after 21 straight winnings seasons and 2 national championships, likely not.
The flip side could be argued that he had only won two NC’s in 21 seasons....ended up with only 2 in 47 seasons...I get it, the undefeated seasons, but they still weren’t NC seasons.

Did you see Baylor’s helmet stickers? Joe would be spinning in his grave!
Good thinking. Helmet stickers? Did you ever think that helmet stickers at Baylor were as traditional as our beautiful white uniforms?

Rhule is only in year 3 of rebuilding. Fraudklin is in year 6 after already apexing.

I would hate to see PSU’s current team play against either OU or Baylor. It would be embarrassing on both sides of the ball....kinda like we witnessed today....

What a lame laydown after your premature ejaculation of a thread.

Exposed. LOL.

You and the backwards hat guy that share the honors of the most disgraced poster of the night. Take your pick.

LOL.

Did Franklin's team blow a 25 point lead at home to a team with a horrendous defense? No I didn't think so.

LMAO...and you were saying?
I just watched Baylor collapse and a ton of missed tackles and I bet your hero would have loved a 9 minute drive to eke out a win.
I mean how Paterno would that have been. Alas it was Franklin that did it. Your night is really sucking. Have a good one.

You do realize that every team in the top4 runs the type of offense you despise? In fact, can you name a team in the top25 who runs a pro style NFL offense? Michigan used to until Harbaugh realized he needed to join the 21st century where offense wins games. Stanford? Wisky?

Pro-style was the wrong word choice; let's say 'non-RPO'. Fine with a spread offense and designed run plays. Something like USC, Bama, Texas A&M run. Now that we've settled that, we can move on.

Move on to where? PSU does not run that many true RPOs as they used to. Minny ran a bunch last week and were very successful (while several posters were complaining about our RPOs and wishing we ran an offense more like theirs). More designed running plays I agree with. We added the toss sweep in week 3 and seem to have added nothing new. Having a RB that gains yards after contact would also be hugely beneficial.

17-18 at Baylor

45-41 overall.

Pat Narduzzi has a better resume in terms of career win % and top 25 wins.
