Well, it was an 8-4 Indiana team and not their normal dumpster fire. And Penn State had just lost 2 in a row to UM and OSU. And Joe was 15-0 against Indiana with an average margin of victory of ~17. And likely 5 or so of these games were against some of the worst teams Penn State has had in the last 50 years.
I know, that pesky context...
Not to mention Franklin is 6-0 against them and was coming off a loss to Minnesota. 2014 and 2015 might have been the leanest teams PSU has ever had wrt depth. He also forgot to mention that two of Franklin’s best offensive players were out for the game.Do you realize what you just wrote?
You're writing off the struggle against '93 Indiana because they were 8-4.
And yet the IU team we just beat is 7-3. But apparently struggling to beat them is an affront to humanity?
Do you realize that Franklin's average margin of victory against IU is approximately 15?
Good Lord almighty. Basic fact check, people.

Yes...because Joe never struggled against Indiana.
May want to cue up the tape of the 93 game.
Wow....just wow.Well, it was an 8-4 Indiana team and not their normal dumpster fire. And Penn State had just lost 2 in a row to UM and OSU. Move on to where? PSU does not run that many true RPOs as they used to. Minny ran a bunch last week and were very successful (while several posters were complaining about our RPOs and wishing we ran an offense more like theirs). More designed running plays I agree with. We added the toss sweep in week 3 and seem to have added nothing new. Having a RB that gains yards after contact would also be hugely beneficial.
Except that the Baylor offense is more similar to PSU’s current offense than Joe’s and they play a Defense that is nothing like Joe’s or PSU’s current Defense.albeit in Green & Gold.
Well then, Rhule is not you man.If Franklin ever leaves or quits, I want someone who runs a pro-style NFL offense. So f'n tired of every play out of the shotgun (I know, I know - I would have killed for the SG formation from Joe in the early 2000's.)
True. I was mostly referring to how hard Baylor was hitting in the first half.Except that the Baylor offense is more similar to PSU’s current offense than Joe’s and they play a Defense that is nothing like Joe’s or PSU’s current Defense.
Oy Vey.
You win this week’s award for being the most delusional PSU fan to post on BWI. Congrats on beating out @AWS1022 this week.

Rhule is only in year 3 of rebuilding. Fraudklin is in year 6 after already apexing.
I would hate to see PSU’s current team play against either OU or Baylor. It would be embarrassing on both sides of the ball....kinda like we witnessed today....
His undermanned team got tired vs. a more talented, deeper rostered OU.No PPB you retired the cup on being delusional a long time ago. Did I miss your post about how Rhule got his you know what handed to him last night?
There’s no way in Hades either of those outcomes happen. The current PSU team would lose to both.....PSU has no secondary...none... nada...zippo...zilchThe current Penn State team would beat Oklahoma by 10 and Baylor by 28.
Baylor would be an undermanned team that would get tired against a more talented, deeper roster in Penn State, too.His undermanned team got tired vs. a more talented, deeper roster OU.
Here’s one for you....Baylor defeats PSU at a neutral site.
Given the current play of PSU’s starting secondary, I shudder to think what our 2nd and 3rd stringers have to offer.Baylor would be an undermanned team that would get tired against a more talented, deeper roster in Penn State, too.
LOL, I was thinking the same thing during the game as the announcer kept harping on that. I thought wait a minute I was at some pretty close games against Indy and some of those were in Beaver Stadium.
The names Thomas Lewis and Randall-El still make me nervous.
Given the current play of PSU’s starting secondary, I shudder to think what our 2nd and 3rd stringers have to offer.
So where is PSU’s deeper, more talented roster?.....Defensive Line?, Linebackers? Defensive secondary? Offensive Line? Wide receivers?
I’m not seeing this “more talented depth” of which you speak
In a universe full of fools everyone there would be pointing at you shouting "fool".albeit in Green & Gold.
