The longer Jax goes without committing to the cowboys the more I think we have a chance. Basset will come if I had to wager. He seems close to his family, likes winning and been at NLWC for years now

#2 Bishop McCort & #4 Wyoming Seminary are wrestling tonight at 6PM Easten on Flo. According to the Flo preview, Jax is dropping to 126 for the dual, Sam Herring is dropping to 132 & Owen McMullen will be at 139 for Bishop McCort.
Does HS not have the same weight descent rules as college? Is it the miserable and unhealthy free-for-all like it was when I wrestled in HS years ago? 🤮
No. Descent plans are in place and kept on Track. And if you have a login, you can see other team's logins.
HS has had descent rules in place for a long time.
Those rules -- or rather, his coaches not understanding them -- cost Verk his JR postseaaon when he bumped up for state duals and couldn't get back to his normal weight.
Based on the wrestlers WT and percentage of body fat determine how much WT you can drop in a given time period. Also is the WT the wrestler has certified at through his initial certification. The wrestler could drop to his WT if he weighed in at 126 or below and 7% or above body fat.

Sorry guys...phone rang and all kinds of scoring while I was on phone. It's 15-7 Jax in 3rd. Jax gets another TD 18-7. Sem get escape and Jax gets a stall point. Ends 19-8.

haven't seen HS wrestling dual in awhile. Looked like injury timeouts were used quite extensively. Jack looked vulnerable even though the match wasn't close. What a good dual to watch!

I can't remember who said it last night, but one of the announcers said Penn State needs to select more than recruit.
well said, Cael and Co get who they want. Very few recruits, especially Pa wrestlers, so somewhere other than PSU when Cael actually go after them.

I can’t think of anyone having a smoother signature move than Jax and his throw-by/pass-by. Everyone knows it’s coming and it doesn’t matter. Lilledahl is the only guy who has really figured it out. I don’t think Jax has hit it on him in quite a few matches

Senior level against Gilman it worked twice, the first time Gilman almost fell on his face (not really), the second time wasn't as smooth but he got it, Gilman shut it down on the third attempt and irc the fourth as well.
That is Gilman a level or two above what I suspect you are talking about.

I haven't seen any update since his top 10 dropped. But I would expect his top 3 to be PSU, Iowa and OSU(DT)

He deleted all his visit posts on instagram except OSU and Iowa. Not an official announcement but a sign I suppose.
Uncle Pat tweeted yesterday Jax was down to Iowa and OK State. Then he deleted it.

Can also pretty much pencil in future top pic Melvin Miller too if DT landed that.. Is that starting to look realistic to take down PSU in the future yet?
If DT lands Bo and Jax and he uses all of them true freshman year their lineup would be pretty salty in the 26 season. PSU lineup still likely way deeper.
I guess not everyone is looking for the quick money and prefers the journey.

Jax never posted his PSU visit. I wasn’t saying Penn st. wasn’t in the running just of the visits posted he deleted all but 2.
