In his R1 match, he defeated Dimitri Pihiou of Canon McMillan, 11-2. That advanced him to the quarterfinals, where he'll face Ty McGeary, of West Allegheny.

Jarod Verkleeren, who is seeded #1 at 145, is in the top half of the bracket, while Joe Blumer is in the bottom half of the bracket.

Blumer advances to the semis, with a 2-0 decision over McGeary.

He'll face Jake Hinkson (North Allegheny) in his semi match on Saturday.

He advances to PA States.
