The BTN Live description on my channel grid is as follows - "The BTN Live team discusses and debates the Big Ten landscape, with spirited interaction with fans". They may want to revise that a bit.

"The BTN Live team discusses and debates the Big Ten landscape, except for Penn State, with spirited interaction with fans".

Even worse, read this article:

http://www.ncaa.com/news/wrestling/...ain-retherford-wins-hodge-trophy-top-wrestler

Watch for this paragraph specifically:

Iowa’s 2016 runner-up Brandon Sorenson took the Nittany Lion into the second set of tiebreakers in January before Retherford won 9-8. And one month later, in the National Duals final, Retherford defeated Oklahoma State’s Anthony Collica, 2-1. Otherwise, the Benton, Pa., native pinned 17 of 28 opponents for a .610 pinning percentage while also getting seven technical falls and one major decision. At the NCAA Championships, Retherford was a scoring machine. He had tech falls in his first three matches, avenged his loss to Sorenson with a pin in the semis, then teched Missouri’s No. 3-seed Lavion Mayes, 18-2 in the final. For this NCAA tourney run he was also named Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.

And tonight they not only recognized Zain's accomplishment, they also had a whole segment on the hockey team Still waiting for the wrestling team's recognition, though. Maybe they didn't cover their national championship because it is not news when that happens. Just routine.

You must not have been watching BTN this morning, Thursday, March 30. Your hockey coach was on for a solo interview and your wrestling program was highlighted.

At the end of the day: hockey, wrestling - don't get much coverage - period. It doesn't matter which program. Do I like it? No. It is what it is. I'll be stuck watching women's lacrosse in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. And like the constant NFL coverage, I'm too often reminded about all things college football during BTN dead time - I tend not to care about the excruciating details of off-season CF.

It's a hoops and football world, esp the latter.
