Just for shits and giggles I've been thinking about "What if PSU played Pitt or Michigan TODAY? What would the outcome be?" I'm going to say that PSU definitely would beat Pitt and I'll say by a score of 42 - 24. PSU's defense has improved DRAMATICALLY since that loss while Pitt's defense still is abysmal.
As far as Michigan I have to say that they do have an outstanding defense, but that a rematch would be, IMO, a coin toss. Either team could win, and the score might be 21 - 17 either way. Just for fun, any thoughts?
