Kathleen Kane not having a good day!!!!

The book details the lengths that high level judges and politicians will go to protect mob interests. One of the highlights of the book is the description of when the Pa Supreme Court essentially unilaterally stepped in to protect another high level mobster, Louie DeNaples.

DeNaples just happens to be a good friend of Penn State Trustee Keith Eckel.

lousy day for democracy. where are all the right wingers decrying activist judges who ignore the Constitution???
I'm a right winger who is against "activist judges" and doesn't like Kathleen Kane, but apparently I'm not familiar or knowledgeable enough to understand why this is unconstituitional.

On the surface, it would not appear to be unconstitutional. Disclaimer: I am an Independent and vote Democrat more often than Republican.

Where or when has exclamation points ever been associated with being happy or gleeful - It is yelling or loud or a strong voice -

just an FYI - I voted for Kane

Exclamation points are used to express excitement. Yelling or loud you would use all caps.

I think it is funny that Kane gets a free pass on so many things only because "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Kane easily could have dropped the charges against the admins if the case is such a disaster as everyone here states it is - and don't start with the she would have pissed too many people off - she clearly doesn't care about pissing anyone off

Kane had a perfect opportunity with the moulton report to show how corbett intentionally delayed the prosecution of JS for at least 2 years but for some reason Kane intentionally laid an egg with that.

I voted for Kane - Thought she would add credibility to the OAG office - That clearly didn't happen

wrong!!!!

where does excitement mean gleeful or happy - it was acceptable to use exclamation points without anyone reading into it that I am happy about it -

it was only lionlurker jumping to conclusion that started this-

I can't speak for everyone (or for anyone, aside from myself), but I don't even have to consider ANY of that stuff to be perfectly comfortable (adamant, in fact) in supporting Kane in her battle against Scumbags like Fina, Williams, Costanzo etc.
So, with that in mind, stuff like the Moulton Report isn't even worth debating......as it relates to this current situation.

Every additional desperate step taken by the likes of Fina and Williams and the boys......all clearly designed to "shut her up".....tell me all I need to know.

maybe you need to bulk up on the 5th and 14th amendments
You're going to need to help me understand how what the Supreme Court did today stripped Kane of her "life, liberty, or property". The Supreme Court did not remove Kane from her position, only temporarily suspended her license to practice law - a privilege granted to them. Kane, even though she now lacks a law license, is still in her position as Attorney General, is still collecting the paychecks granted to her by her position, and is still enjoying her freedom as she awaits trial. While it's true that the Supreme Court hasn't suspended the law license of an elected official in PA, I don't see how that makes too much of a difference as far as the Supreme Court executing its responsibilities as the chief disciplinarians for Pennsylvania attorneys.

She had a perfect opportunity (in fact that is the only reason she was elected) to hold corbett accountable. She intentionally scuttled the moulton report - you being ok with that tells me all i need to know..............

I don't think any rationale person here wants the charges drop, but they deserve to be heard. If everything is dropped we are back to stage 1. I still think there is something holding up their trials not the AG.

Its all a huge conspiracy against poor Kathy...

Voting to suspend Kane were: Chief Justice Thomas G. Saylor, a Republican from Cumberland County, and Justices J. Michael Eakin, a Republican from Lancaster County; Max Baer, a Democrat from Allegheny County; Debra McCloskey Todd, a Democrat from Allegheny County; and Correale F. Stevens, a Republican from Luzerne County.

She was holding out the threat that if the vote was 3-2 along party lines that she would release more porn emails connected to one of the Supremes and get a re-vote without Eakin. Ooops, might have worked well except for the inconvenient truth that the vote was 5-0.

WTF!!!

?????

You're making two HUGE erroneous assumptions:

1 - I NEVER expected her to be able to - or even necessarily invested in - holding Corbett accountable or somehow "rescuing PSU" through the Sandusky Investigation Investigation. Never felt that way.
2 - You are making a gigantic assumption that she "intentionally scuttled the Moulton Report"

So I completely disagree with both premises

Further, NEITHER of those issues, even if we took your assumptions at face value, would even come close to leading me to take a position in support of guys like Fina and Williams and the Boys in their battle against Kane.

If - and correct me if I am misinterpreting your position - you feel that in the conflict between Fina and the Boys vs Kane, you are supportive of Fina and the Boys......I just cannot understand why.
ESPECIALLY because that position is one that would severely damage the situation that I would expect you to be most personally invested in.

Maybe that is not your position.....if so, mea culpa.

Otherwise, it looks to me like you are barking - VERY LOUDLY - up the wrong tree.

But that's just me.

She should have resigned months ago....she is a mess and out of her league. She lacks courtroom experience and it has shown early in her AG role to date. She promoted a guy to her Chief of Staff that sexually harassed two women...he should have been fired. She simply makes poor decisions and the work environment in the AG's office is toxic.

LOL! Speaking of tip money, was that you driving the shuttle bus from the NLI to the president's tailgate on Saturday? How did you make out?

I know you're just dying to eyeball me. Well, you'll have your chance later this fall on the TV show "Mozart in the Jungle". I'll be wearing a black tuxedo walking by the fountain in Washington Square Park. I'll be the one next to Malcolm McDowell.

Is Malcolm a good tipper? Be a little careful, rumor has it he may not be "straight"....you don't want to risk getting him excited - lest he piss on more than your shoes (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Pitiful.

Imagine the balls of the Fools and their fanboys going to a football game. Bet they get bruises from just watching the collisions!

Are you living in a box? 506 doesn't exist.
596......

So, when am I to be graced by your presence? You must be planning your visit soon.....seeing as how you've gone to such trouble.

(BTW....just so you are not disappointed later, I should let you know up front that I prefer to piss all by myself)
