He’s not a great quarterback but he’s got a Super Bowl ring - something no one has earned playing with the Steelers in 15 years.
If he goes on to have a career as a star QB for the Browns (unlikely but not impossible), then getting Fields and Wilson and thus driving Pickett out is going to go down as a historically bad move for the Steelers.
If he starts for the Browns next year then the Steelers-Browns games are going to be a huge deal.

Not a player, but Andy Weidel has 2. Superbowl rings.
The 1st with Baltimore in 2012 and with the Eagles in 2017.
And I would venture to guess that Andy had more to do with those teams winning a Superbowl that lil hands Kenny Pickett did with the Eagles.
Maybe we will also learn what ultimately led to KP asking for and being granted his walking papers from the Steelers 2 seasons ago.
