Regardless of outcome next week, great work by Franklin and the staff keeping this team focused all season in order to be in this position. The last few weeks have shown how difficult it is to avoid stumbling to someone you shouldn’t at some point, and we’ve been one of the weekly upset specials for half our games so there have been plenty of opportunities.

"Upset alert". 6 times. Half of the season.

Iowa State just achieved their first 10 win season in their history and the students stormed the field, PSU has won 10 or more games the past three seasons and six times in the last eight full seasons; although he certainly isn’t perfect, Franklin overall is doing a great job,

After all the bitching, whining, and doom and gloom this season, we’re sitting at 11-1 in the conference championship game….seems like a pretty good thing to me.
I said before the season that I would sign in blood to finish 10-2, so I consider 11-1 to be an overwhelming success. Like Steve Jones said on the postgame show, there are very few teams that finished with 11 wins.

College football with the bloated conferences is becoming more like the NFL in that regardless of how good you are, you’re probably going to lose at least a game or two.

How many here still want Rhule or Schiano? 🤪. Franklin has brought upper-level success and consistency. He did 11-1 this year without a great wr, which is amazing. He has an eye for talent. Warren was a 3 star recruit.

Franklin is great at finding athletes who are underrated or not yet developed football players. He takes flyers on great athletes and hits on enough to elevate his team above the player rankings. He seems to focus on players with a good work ethic, good families, commitment and good attitude. Some fail, some become solid players, and others take off.

Great job Hardly. When your best win is Illinois you can’t brag about it. Multiple 10 win seasons feasting on middle of the pack competition. UM as bad as they are did with a lame duck coach what Franklin is in capable of accomplishing. That is beating an upper echelon team.

That lame duck Coach will have his team a #1, #2, #5 or #6 seeding for the playoff in two weeks. I like the combination of Kraft + Franklin + Allen + Kotelnicki......would be great to see if the 4 of them can stay together for a few seasons.........

Unranked teams the top 12 CFP teams have lost to:

Michigan (Ohio State)
Northern Illinois (Notre Dame)
Georgia Tech (Miami)
Syracuse (Miami)
Arkansas (Tennessee)
Louisville (Clemson)

It’s not easy to beat every mid team on your schedule.

So you’d rather be 7-5 with a win over OSU….got it.

Go root for Michigan? I went looking for your 12-0 prediction for this season but couldn’t find it.

Seriously though, did Franklin **** your wife? Your post history is literally nothing but Franklin bashing.

I cannot understand the hate a number of these people have for Franklin. He has returned the program to respectability, and we are on the verge of being elite for the first time since 1994 (or 2005 depending on your measure), all while representing the University with class. He is very similar to Paterno in so many ways.

Paterno would be ashamed of a lot of them.
