Hahahaha,Cael vs Iowa
I prefer to call them “husky”, “sturdy”, or “fatties”Ha ha. Heavyweights. He did that throw not with the dangerous back arch, and not with a back step, but by simply dropping to his knees. It’s like a whole different type of physics calculus with the big guys.
I agree. Berge can't hurt his seeding by losing to Bull, but he sure as hell can improve it with an upset, which is not likely but not unthinkable, either. They were just his personal thoughts and I doubt that Cael Sanderson confers with Goggles before a dual. Personally, I disagree with Goggles and think that IF Berge is likely to go 165 at Bigs and nationals for us that he should wrestle against Marinelli on Friday (and in every other dual if he's healthy).
And if she's your date " big boned"! 😉I prefer to call them “husky”, “sturdy”, or “fatties”
How come the sword doesn't appear to come out of his back?and 30,000 Hawk samurai simultaneously...
1. Unless they start at 174, 184 or maybe 197 the dual is not going to be locked up at the conclusion of 157.Interesting, (listed on HR as probables - source???) we have Barraclough and Negron listed at 157 (expected) and Berge and Edsel (somewhat of a surprise) at 165.
Given 3 potential meetings; dual/bigs/nationals it makes sense to me to go with Edsel if it is looking like we on our way to a victory. I would think if we win 4 (maybe 3) of the first 5, we hold out Berge. Familiarity breeds contempt.
Thoughts?
“Tognettiesque” ?And if she's your date " big boned"! 😉
I think Mike McCormack is one of the bestWhen will we know whether we’re gonna have Angel Rivera reffing or not?
A related question, who are the best big match refs in college?
Always cute but chicken killing bastards!Damn.....that is one cute weasel.
Random draw and the dual ends at 149. Iowa is down by three but holds criteria. Murin wins with a SV takedown, the crowd goes ballistic. In his excitement, Murin spikes his headgear and quickly has a "OH S***" look on his face as a team point is docked and the crowd quickly silences and you only hear the PSU bench screaming and cheering and jumping in joy in the background.Upset of the Night: Bartlett over Murin, 3-1 in OT. With ice water coursing through his veins, Beau gets a TD in the first OT period and silences all of CHA!
WE ARE!!!
I don't think this PSU team will feel very festive if it takes a team point deduction to beat this Iowa team. Iowa could certainly win this dual, but PSU would probably be a 10 point favorite if it were on a neutral mat. Carver can swing things for refs, so how big of an impact can the home cooking become?Random draw and the dual ends at 149. Iowa is down by three but holds criteria. Do you remember reading some of the initial bitter HR posts dealing with PSU/Cael. "It isn't like we are rivals or anything. Minnesota and Oklahoma State, those are rivals. Of course they are right, it is much more common for them to be competitive with the Cowboys and Goofers than the Nits. This is the most exciting post from Penn State Tweeter
looks like we are just chopping wood and carrying water this week. While the Squawkers are pumping it up.
Interesting.
I can't shake this thought in my head that 149 is going to feature a big throw attempt or upper body lock that will decide the match.Random draw and the dual ends at 149. That makes sense with Minnesota. They were also giving out extra scholarships in the 70s and 80s like Iowa. They were competing for the same guys with their extra scholarship money.Do you remember reading some of the initial bitter HR posts dealing with PSU/Cael. "It isn't like we are rivals or anything. Wait, what?!?! I thought Cael was doing all the cheating! That makes sense with Minnesota. They were also giving out extra scholarships in the 70s and 80s like Iowa. They were competing for the same guys with their extra scholarship money.
NCAA SET TO PUNISH BIG 10
The NCAA has censured the Big 10 and will withhold $75,000 in grant money to the conference as penalties for a faulty league policy that allowed seven schools to hand out more scholarships than per…www.chicagotribune.com

Iowa fans like to bring up long term history on how many championships they have won as compared to Penn State but short term history on how they won those championships.Wait, what?!?! I thought Cael was doing all the cheating!
😂

Do TnT even end up at Iowa if they weren’t giving out extra scholarships at the time?I think a Cael vs Brands compare is more relevant. But then there is not to much to say there.
That question sure is...Do TnT even end up at Iowa if they weren’t giving out extra scholarships at the time?
He should name names. If not I don't believe it for a sport like wrestling.
Must be silly season...
Siding with Brands on this. Just look at Tom Ryan on social media -- Ohio State still pays him, right? He should name names. If not I don't believe it for a sport like wrestling.
I think Tom's been reading the tHR.. maybe Tom is @ironburd
