In the last picture, we ~see Cenzo's far leg and far arm pushing against Massa's far arm only. Advantage: Cenzo. Not only could Massa not push as hard, but his hips were already starting from a bad position, as mentioned earlier.
Still, it is easier to understand than to do!
I think, just before/upon landing, Massa had had a micro-second opportunity to limp his left leg out to push with, but he seemingly did not understand his danger and missed that opportunity. Someone like Nickal or Hall might have had the situational awareness and intuition to not miss such a micro-second opportunity.

The problem in this picture is that Massa is way too high. When they come down Cenzo is going to be able to hip over. Cenzo has really heavy hips and with Massa being that high he's going to be in big trouble when they land.
Well, I don't quite get the 4th place predictions (which I have not seen or just don't recall) for Cenzo, but still hard for me to get too worked up about it.
The further this goes with no news is better for PSU.

What I'm saying is that I think the race at Nationals between PSU and OSU would be more interesting if Suriano were to leave.
With Suriano in our lineup, I feel we are a clear favorite which could make things less "f**" for non-PSU fans.
