Super impressive win! You could tell he wasn’t near as physically mature as his opponent. Kid from Nebraska was trying to out muscle him with his upper body. He was looking for a big throw in 1st period. But Haines was able to stay out of harms way. Probably the most impressive win I’ve seen by a freshman in years. Once he physically matures he’s gonna be a great one.

And his defense against takedowns is also at a high level. Not to mention a great gas tank and great will to win. Love what he produces already.

Kid from Nebraska was using all upper body first period. Working under hooks and trapping both his arms in front of his head. Kept waiting for the throw. But Haines never got out of position. Agee with you on having a great motor. His double leg looks so smooth. Smoothest I’ve seen in years.
