The guy is one hell of a defensive coach. He had one year and they booted him from the head job because Ohio State is win at all costs. I'm glad for him, personally, and hope he succeeds at Cincy.

The added bonus is that Ohio St loses a D coordinator, and a good one, and they'll find out now that he's gone.

Johnson was on the coaching staff in 2014 so he has a championship as well.

LJ wasn't just passed over he wasn't even given a interview after he helped hold the team together

The last time UC was in a winning drought, they brought in a OSU DC and that worked out quite well for UC and for him. He is now coaching MSU. I support UC athletics and I have moved past the fact LF is a Buckeye and looking forward to him bringing new energy into the program and applying his Urban tutelage. We may dislike Urb but he knows what he is doing and has passed on his tricks to multiple successful coaches. Speaking of this hire, rumor is Urban had to step in and stop UC from stealing Kerry Coombs from him as well. Kerry is a beloved HS coach from Cincy area and is known as one of the best recruiters in football. OSU can pay more to assistants than UC and that was the end of the hope.
