Looks like PSU counter sued Spanier yesterday

Speaking of CSS, is there ANYTHING happening there, at all? What's the record for the longest criminal indictment before an actual trial?
Gee lurker, great question; this might be one. Maybe the three Amigos already have this beat?

The McMartin preschool trial was a
day care sexual abuse case of the 1980s, prosecuted by the Los Angeles District Attorney Ira Reiner. Members of the McMartin family, who operated a preschool in California, were charged with numerous acts of sexual abuse of children in their care. Accusations were made in 1983. Arrests and the pretrial investigation ran from 1984 to 1987, and the trial ran from 1987 to 1990. After six years of criminal trials, no convictions were obtained, and all charges were dropped in 1990. When the trial ended in 1990 it had been the longest and most expensive criminal trial in American history.[1] The case was part of day-care sex-abuse hysteria, a moral panic over alleged Satanic ritual abuse in the 1980s and early 1990s. The school was located on Walnut and Manhattan Beach Blvd.

I believe there is testimony indicating Spanier cut her short during her update and dismissed her from the room, not sure why she didn't have free reign to update them as she saw fit.

That's news to me. The minutes would reflect that if that was the case and I don't remember seeing anything of the sort in the minutes but it's been a while since I've reviewed them.

The fact of the matter is that baldwin knew way more detail about the JS investigation than Spanier. She was the one sitting in on all the GJ testimony (illegally I might add) and receiving subpoenas etc. The BOT's claim that Spanier withheld info from them is laughable and absurd.

Baldwin is the person who told Spanier and the entire BOT it was all just a fishing expedition, no one at PSU is a target, etc...yet somehow that's Spaniers fault?? Please.

Balwin is also the person who was responsible for responding to the subpoenas but instead she blew them off until fina admonished her then the oag bizarrely decided to charge CSS for obstruction instead of baldwin. Luckily those bs charges we quashed along with conspiracy and perjury.

Curley and Schultz will have them beat easily. With arrests in 1984 and trial in 1987 the McMartin preschool trial only took 3 years from arrest to trial. Curley and Schultz were arrested in 2011 and at the end of 2016 have yet to go to trial, so we are looking at more than 5 years from arrest to trial.
