FWIW:

The "media" didn't "spike the ball"......the A9 did. The media (whom we all like to blame) has had nothing to do with the A9's fiduciary failures (highlighted by the most recent actions of the July coronations)


The A9 has - repeatedly - "spiked the ball" on their ability to ever claim to be the righteous stewards of the University. EVER. (The actions of July were just the coup de grace.)

As such, nothing they say or claim will ever carry the weight that might be ascribed to the righteous. EVER

Now, clearly, the only way for our voices to be equated with the voices of the righteous - something that is a prerequisite if we are ever to actually WIN the battles we are engaged in - is to (at the least) place new individuals into those seats.........and, even then, removing the tar of fiduciary failure from those seats, and attaching a meaningful sense of righteousness to our voices - even with new personnel - will be a daunting task.
