I had the pleasure of talking with Lou several years ago at Nationals. Mentioned he still looked in shape to give it a go. He answered he weighs about the same as when he competed, it is just proportioned differently.
I remember thinking when he competed he looked like a refrigerator with trees for arms and bigger trees for legs. He may have weighed 210 to 220 but he always looked like the most powerful 210-220 human you might meet.
