No. 8 PSU holds on to a one-goal lead to beat struggling Niagra 3-2. PSU never trailed, but Niagra kept it close all game. PSU took a 3-1 lead late in the 3rd (one of the freshmen scored) and, just when you thought you could exhale, Niagra scored almost immediately afterwards to make it 3-2. PSU withstood the extra attacker for the final ~90 seconds for the win. State was down a few players - hopefully they'll play a bit stronger tomorrow night before resuming B1G play in two weekends (with another OOC game vs RMU next weekend). Go State!
