Another opponent honoring us. 2-0 in _____ Outs so far this season.

People can put anything they want in front of the out......fact is an "out" doesn't have the effect if the game is not at night.
It's probably more the night that does it than any dress code. Think about it , players play most games at noon or 3:30 so I'd guess it's easier to play a home game at night than go on the road for a night game.

This is by far the best game in the B10 that day. I thought Fox automatically take the best B10 game and put it at noon? However, I am not sure how the selection works because this week the noon Fox game is Mich vs Maryland and the O$U vs Wisky game is 7:30pm on ABC. I would have thought it would be reversed since it seems the O$U game is a better game that Fox would choose first over scUM vs Maryland.

Does anyone know how it is decided between ABC and Fox?

Funny thing is, there was no such thing as a Maize out. or Orange out.....

In the "out" family there is Whiteout, Brownout and Blackout.
My wife is an RU grad and she is embarrassed that Schiano asked for a "Scarlet-out" vs. Iowa. When I googled it apparently were were already "Scarlet-outted" last year by OSU.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

My understanding is the networks pick the games they will cover like a draft, alternating selections back and forth. I think ABC is the preferred partner and always gets the first pick and takes OSU-UM every year. After that they alternate. The order in which the games are chosen isn't announced but can be pieced together with the context of which games get prime air times on each network. I think many suspect FOX picking OSU-PSU was 2nd this year.

So perhaps a night game on ABC vs scUM?

Since maize means corn and not really a color, we'll be right at home wearing white as I have always preferred white corn. The big house is not known for being a tough place to play, but we have not typically played well there. We just have to take care of business over the next two weeks and go in and beat them up. Keep getting better!

Clifford's beaten them twice, including once in the big house.

You are right and hopefully we beat them again. There was a period of years where each team beat the other at home each season. No matter how good or bad the teams were it seemed that home field had decided it already. Then we can go back further to the time period when the refs helped determine who won each year.

Hard to win there when you have to beat both the team and the refs. We had some true highway robberies there.

Michigan's playoff team beat last year's free falling Penn State squad by 4 points. Assuming that there are no significant injuries the next two weeks and John O'Neill doesn't pull a Jordan and unretire in the next 3 I think there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about our odds this game.

They once put "Rutgres" on their jerseys...I can't imagine the embarrassment of mimicking OSU adds a great deal.... :)

Joel Klatt leaked Fox Noon game— Michigan night game is half dead compared to Beaver Stadium whiteout — noon game will be a yellow morgue and PSU can just execute and empty out stadium and we can take over like we did at Auburn. I imagine there will be huge student travel to this game as it’s an easy drive.

Not really. This has been streaky series
They won 93. We rolled 3 straight. The won 9 straight. We won 4 straight. They won 3 straight (sanction yrs). The past 5 years have been balanced (3-2 us)
