Washington State lost to Portland State last week & yet is giving Rutgers all they can handle in Jersey. Am I wrong to think that with all of our problems that we are still the better team here? I think the extra emotion of a home crowd in prime time doesn't hurt either. A dozen different things have gone wrong, some of them major, yet I still see us at 5-1 or 4-2 going into the shoe. San Diego State is hanging tough with Cal & that will be a tough team for us. I want to beat Rutgers & Maryland. Anything else is gravy. Initial thoughts?
By the way, hats off to my fellow den members crazy enough to sit through the game like me! That weather was the worst in a while. It's always amusing to return home to read the game thread and read all the angst. Try going to a game once in a while...you'll be able to calm down on the drive home & it will keep you from posting stupid crap.
