They clearly had Bo for the PSU dual because having him for any win would be so cringeworthy he’d eliminate them immediately.Rutgers beat Illinois, a celebration was had. Can you imagine Cael getting the gatorade after any win?

Bringing in some fat kid who looks like a future cement contractor and then getting your ass handed to you was definitely the way to impress him. LMAO.They clearly had Bo for the PSU dual because having him for any win would be so cringeworthy he’d eliminate them immediately.

I mean if that's how desperate the program and its fanbase have become ..... Why limit it to being ranked in the top ten when you wrestled? Why not a ton ten ranking at *any* time in the season? Or any time in the last five years. For someone that claims to not be a RU hater you sure are obsessed with them. Illinois is currently a top 10 team no? Maybe by the end of the year they are not? In 2019, heading in that Wisconsin match, maybe they were rank 10th? Ok so what if by seasons end they dropped out.. if RU beats Illinois should that not count as a win over a top 10 team?? @__@

The only win that "counts" is if a team you beat finishes the season in the top ten. Otherwise, you are relying on a provisional and flawed ranking.
And you are counting a "win" that was really a tie with zero bonus points and in which you had a 38-34 advantage in total points? 72 points combined between the two teams? Barr had more points than that in less than a minute against Rutgers. Rutgers team average was less than a takedown and escape per match.
It's kind of pathetic. Now I just feel sorry for Rutgers and its wrestling fans. Congrats on your overwhelming "statement" win over a top 20 team. I'm done.
BAHAHHAHA don’t over complicate it buddy, Illinois was a top 10 ranked team so if a team beats them that’s a top 10 ranked win. Just like if any team ever beats PSU, while they r ranked 1, that counts as a win over the top team.I mean if that's how desperate the program and its fanbase have become ..... I don't think it was a bad idea, personally. You have to think Rutgers is the longest of long shots to get Bo. Why not invite him to the PSU match? If you do pull off the greatest upset in college wrestling history with him watching, that's probably their best chance to seal the deal. Obviously it didn't work out that way, but if getting curb stomped reduced their chances from 0.1% to 0.001%, does it really matter?Flo's take on whether or not it was a good idea for Bassett to have his official Rutgers recruiting visit while Penn State was in town:
Yep keep thinking Rutgers is the longest of long shots to get Bo… if its not PSU, u should almost be pulling for RU to get him bc then it most likely will be Okie state.. Bo+Jax+DT to pull the student takes down the mentor.. a storyline that’s as old as time…I don't think it was a bad idea, personally. You have to think Rutgers is the longest of long shots to get Bo. I'd be ok with Bo to Rutgers and Jax to PSU.Yep keep thinking Rutgers is the longest of long shots to get Bo… if its not PSU, u should almost be pulling for RU to get him bc then it most likely will be Okie state..
