Since this thread is already off course. I've always been intrigued by the choice of "Chickenman Testa".Any relation.?
I actually knew a gentleman that was a juror in the Sal Testa murder case. He passed away from cancer probably 12 years ago.

No relation - wanted a good Philadelphia related board name. Henry “the Hunchback” Riccobene was a possibility, but quite a mouthful.

Spinal Tap characters were also finalists

I don't hate the guy. He's annoying at times, self-righteous almost all the time. I can see why he rubs people the wrong way. Very combative with outside folks.

And Inside Trip, holy crap. They do not like Pyles.

This. Incredibly self righteous and really insecure - which leads to constant combativeness.

It was funny when Willie was on FRL. Willie would let out some profanity and Pyles would lambaste him - I mean real Catholic School Nun ruler-rapping across the knuckles. But, enter Askren (who I like). Askren’s dropping curse words every sentence and not a peep from CP. He’s an obsequious jock-sniffer - never was it more apparent than when the women at HWC left en masse and he let Brands have the airways without any probing questions. His relationship with Downey is like Senator Cruz’ with Trump - both allow the perceived alpha to humiliate them in order to have access. Having Askren on FRL really shines a light on this dynamic.

Nomad was not on FRL today and No mention of Nomad during the Podcast. Better update the betting odds

Nomad is a passionate fan. I don't necessarily agree with everything he says but he is a fan with a microphone.
Pyles is Pyles - he does come across as an authority of the sport and in the same breath he says he isn't - I think that is where he rubs me wrong at times.
Unfortunately they both work for a company that needs to be profitable thus, they are influenced. I've made my Flo comments in other threads. Damn - does it stink that we don't know a definitive start of the season??!!

I hate Nomad’s badmouthing of folkstyle. Tiresome and biased. He recently tied himself in knots trying to say the freestyle rule set was more clear than folkstyle. Learn when to take the L

Oh, and the smarmy tweet a few weeks ago about finally getting to watch wrestling in a few weeks - alluding to the Flo Card - when the Rumble was like 2 days away. Again, you don’t have to do PR for a competitor, but ****ing stop with the junior high bs

Fired up CT & El together is a beautiful thread.

CP jock swinging is a perfect analogy. A little too high and mighty at times which is why Willie was his perfect partner.

Nomad always came across as a passionate dork, much like many of us, so he didn't bother me.

I didn't get to listen to FRL today, yet, but if there was no Nomad mention, I assume there wasn't a CP sermon again and they are just going to try to ignore everything?

They are heeding Flo Legal’s advice on the last matter. They’ve got a top notch shop over there.

Lobdell was the obnoxious guy who said ridiculous things just to get reactions. Far beyond contrarian, things he almost certainly didn't believe himself. Sh**poster in verbal form. It gets old, fast.

At least he was. Must admit, since Willie left I've listened to FRL only when something noteworthy gets pointed out (such as Askren's takes on Starocci and Brooks).

Used to think/hope that it was just the role he was playing on air, like many SportsCenter hosts (back when people watched SportsCenter) were playing the role of a stereotype caricature. But then he'd do something juvenile like that tweet Chickenman pointed out, and maybe that's just who he is.

This. I don’t get why Flo does not at least give a rundown (plus credit to the media outlet) if an event happens outside their purview. Others do.

It’s like CBS and Fox re: the NFL. They don’t hype the other games, but they don’t ignore them. This isn’t the 60s where you might only know what you see in your TV guide

They did give CP a really hard time. However, I thought the best part was when they talked about PDIII's apology. They were convinced it couldn't have been written by PDIII because the apology used punctuation.

I don't mind Nomad on FRL and appreciate his takes. But while everyone's dumping on him, I'll mention that at the EIWAs in March, Nomad ran over to me after Columbia's Joe Manchio upset Brandon Paetzel with a pin. He wanted a photo since everyone else had missed it. I said, sure, just credit me. I processed it fast, emailed him the photo along with my name and within 15 minutes from the pin Flo tweets it out... without crediting me. And I know that stuff like this happens unintentionally, and from my vantage it was no big deal. But I've been around long enough now to know that everyone has a story like that about Flo, so I'm less forthcoming with the benefit of the doubt.

See, and I always have enjoyed Nomad being involved with Flo. Hoping whatever is going on with that gets cleared up, but I had no idea this many people actually didn't like what he added. But I also don't mind Pyles, either lol.
