All the time? Twice in regard to you using words that you are part of the PSU athletic dept or university. Nobody talks like that unless they feel the need to be included, which clearly you are not.
There are several reports of him attending multiple games including having tickets for PSU osu that went unused.
I think we all would like B10 Commish to act but unless he is being push hard, really hard by the other 13 members, it's just not going to happen anytime soon. It appears that NCAA started this investigation and has the evidence. The B10 may have been aware of the investigation at the early outset but may not have all the evidence that the NCAA has. I would hope they do.
It doesn't sound like anyone from Michigan is talking. NCAA and B10 are going to want to speak to everyone they can. That takes time. Again, we aren't exactly impartial but it is clear something was happening but to follow through on a punishment, the lawyers for the conference are likely overly cautious for fear of legal action from Michigan to the conference.
Even if they have a smoking gun (a smoking gun that a lawyer would be comfortable with), what precedent do they have to follow on this? Has any school or team been punished in-season for in-season actions like this? You can't just suspend the coaches involved, given that could mean the head coach, both coordinators, and possibly position coaches. A fine is just that. If they are going to put a post-season ban or vacate current season wins, you will get a huge outcry on that punishing the players not the coaches (or admin). I write all of this as way to temper expectations (for myself as much as anyone else). If it were me, I'd vacate this season and last season's wins, bar them from post-season play this year and next year, and suspend the involved coaches (perhaps stagger the suspensions) but unfortunately, I can't see any of that happening in the next few months.
My guess is that this is all tied together with criminal suspicions. That brings the Feds in and football will take a backseat
