Yeah, I know, a lot of folks are still basking in the glow of FOUR national champions from Saturday evening, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, as Woody Allen famously said about relationships in a movie, "They are like sharks. If they don't keep moving forward, they die." The same is true in athletics. The Penn State wrestling program certainly shows some great promise for the future, but there are a few important questions to be confronted for the 2021-2022 season. Was either or both Howard and Berge injured enough to possibly leave a gaping hole or two in the lineup? Will one of the recruits be likely to force himself into the lineup? Are there possible transfers in which might affect Joe Lee's situation? His NCAA performance was certainly underwhelming. Might Griffith from Stanford be a plausible scenario? I'm just spitballin' here, and I'm not nearly as close to the program as many of you, but what's the harm is asking?

As for Howard, when RBY took Fix down to win the title, ESPN showed a shot of RBY's teammates celebrating. Howard was very vigorous in his celebration, raising both arms completely multiple times. Who knows, but certainly not indicative of a major shoulder injury.

Man. You spend more words justifying your right to post than actually posting. Have more swagger, my man! Have you learned nothing from @lionlover? :)

These are questions that all of us are thinking, but their answers will only unfold over the next few months.

Forgive me, f**kface, but I actually spent part of one sentence doing what you accuse me of, so grow feathers and sh*t in a tree. ;););) As a former English teacher and current writer of historical novels about the Vikings, I can't help myself. On the other hand, I don't need to constantly take penicillin like lionlover probably finds necessary, so there's that.

And diggerpup, I thought that some reasonable early conjecture might be worthwhile. Certainty is an elusive prey.

Awesome, How much of the novel will be dedicated to the Randall Cunningham Part of Vikings History?

Relationships are like sharks, hmmm. That's not wrestling, that's called Formula 1. Just ask Ferrari, McLaren, or Haas racing.

I'm wonder if their is a 5th year senior who hasn't won a national championship in his first 4 yrs ,who would want to come "back home" to try to win one here.

Well, stop being lazy & go back and read the other NCAA threads over the last few days where all of your questions have some reasonable early conjecture posted in abundance.

Phew! I was afraid you were a former wrestler. That would’ve given me cognitive dissonance. :)

Feel free to lose your mind. I did wrestle in high school, although that was several decades ago. Some of us mellow with age, and others just get bitter.

So basically anybody here with a username that relates to a dog has "issues"? Ok, got it. :p
