From his post-game press conference:

"I think the first pick, you know, the normal arm-chair quarterback will blame it on Max but the receiver didn’t get out of his break fast enough, didn’t go after the ball and we have to clean that up. There’s a few of those that we’re not on time. We expect the quarterback to be in rhythm and get the ball out; you know, you also have to be where you’re supposed to be.

NARDUZZI: I mean, Chris Clark drops a couple balls; a young guy, hadn’t played for a year. You see Aaron Mathews drop a couple. You know, Jester drops one. So we can sit here and look at incompletes - you know, when we’re throwing it, you have to catch the ball, too. There’s opportunities to catch it.

We just have to execute. The quarterbacks are putting the ball where it needs to be, and I think there’s some good play-calling out there today, but you have to make a play, too.

Can't he show some class and just say we dropped some passes. No, he calls the players out by name or identifies them.

Good luck recruiting Nardouche.

"Good playcalling out there"= coaches did fine. "But you have to make a play"= players didn't. Cover your own ass there Nard Dog.

Losing the Super Bowl is tough. Somebody has to take the blame. Might as well be the 20 year old kid

Not only did they lose their Super Bowl but perhaps another key chain as well. Or do they get one for participating?

Geez sounds like Brian Kelly.
Speaking of Kelly, has he run over and backed up over Winbush yet?

Certainly no fan of Narduzzi, but I don't see the big deal here. if the players curl up into a fetal position cause their coach called them out, then God bless them on their ventures into the real world

Typical quarterback coddling. Seems like most coaches do it to protect the fragile psyches of their QB's. You can tell Terry Bradshaw is still butt-hurt that Chuck Noll was mean to him.

You can look at it that way if you choose, but Narduzzi was just sticking up for Max Browne, who took some heat after the game. Narduzzi is very positive with his players and has their backs to the media. Also notice how he profusely complimented Franklin and his team in the conference from the getgo. He always credits his opponent, win or lose. BTW, congrats to PSU on the win, they have a great team, and should have a chance at the CFB playoff.

Do you think he still has this on?

I agree and I don't really have an issue with anything he said, but again I'm not a Pitt fan It's not like anything he said was false. I re-watched the game last night and I don't remember all of the dropped passes he is referring to. I would hardly consider the pass the Weah dropped a bad drop. He could have caught it, but it was a tough catch to make when you factor in how good the coverage was.

I think he comments were more to take some heat off of himself and Browne. The fans are already calling for Browne's head and PN is responsible for bringing him in and naming him the starter.
What fans?

Who cares? Pitt football is irrelevant.
