Do not believe that he will get drafted.......decent run stopper, was exposed on pass coverage. Good College Player where passing is not as exact as the Pro Game.

I hope that he proves me wrong. Played hard.

I hope Kobe gets drafted. He really improved the last two years. Perhaps he can become a good backup in the NFL. Not the biggest player but solid instincts and tackling ability.
He's going to have to prove he's an elite ST guy since he's really a 1 or 2 down LB. Solid against the run...liability against the pass.

Lets see with Winston Jr. I imagine he runs at PSU Pro Day.....he will have had 9 months to recover from his injury....... should be healthy. PSU known to have a fast track.

Would not mind seeing the Steelers get him in the 4th round, if he lasts that long. Was 2nd best defender on PSU defense before he was hurt. Would have greatly helped us aginst tOSU and ND.

He would have been our best wr this year. We were an avg wr away from beating osu and nd.
Exactly, it's sour grapes to fail to realize the talent of KLS. A shame that he left, whatever the reason, and I firmly believe that PSU would have given oh-high-ya a better game in the championship game after beating ND by 2 TD's if KLS was playing in Blue and White last season. In fact PSU would have beaten Oregon in the B10 Championship game and the whole playoff structure would have been different.

Auburn's performance has nothing to do with it as they had other draft choice players and still didn't win games - nothing to do with the talent of the best individual players they had. Colorado didn't make the playoff but that doesn't mean PSU wouldn't have been much better had Travis Hunter been Allar's top target.

Doesn't work that way or alabama and Georgia would have been in the final 4.

Did psu beat osu the previous 4 years with kls?

We don't know that...does he catch the ball in the end zone that went for a pick against Ohio State? Probably not. Does he break up the deep ball that was picked against Oregon? Maybe but we don't know. Does he have a catch against ND? Hopefully but I don't know for sure.
I'm not sure why we're trying to make him better than he was. Take a closer look at his numbers this year and when he did most of his damage. He, like our WRs last year, couldn't beat man coverage...

Jaylen was probably checking for his official time to be put up at the end of the video but....the look at the end of the video times up with the commentator stating that Reed 'literally' plays with his hair on fire and I half wondered if his look was in response....
I may have missed it, but I don't recall him ever playing with his hair literally on fire. Seems like that would be a safety issue, and possibly even against the rules.

LOL at KLS is a 17 point difference maker in the ND game

Actually, it doesn't work your way, either. The simple reality is, controlling for off-field/clubhouse issues (of which I'm not privy ... and I don't think any of us are), he would have made the team better last year ... and a better team stands a better chance of winning more games.

You are not privy to the locker room issues yet the team was.

You admit you don't know those details so you pretend the issues didn't exist.

Wut? I said I'm not speculating on that, because I don't know ... so I can't say either way. And I doubt anyone here actually knows anything, beyond rumor and innuendo. Pretty simple. Which part of that didn't you understand?

No, PSU WR's making even one catch vs ND doesn't seem too funny to me. Whereas KLS is looking pretty good at the NFL combine, together with the fact that he was very good at PSU before leaving. KLS is a legit NFL prospect where as there was no WR on PSU's 2025 team that could even make one catch vs the Domers. Yes a legit NFL prospect WR that can actually catch footballs and has legit speed could have been worth multiple TD's vs ND. KLS ran 4.37 yesterday at the combine, and that would taken the top off of the ND defense and likely made the PSU running game even better as well, making the whole PSU more productive. i.e. more points.

From an athleticism standpoint, it was definitely a loss when he transferred out. Anyone trying to argue to the contrary is full of it. Not that it ultimately matters, but I would love to know why that situation happened, and especially why it couldn't be resolved.

Yet the TEAM won more games without KLS than they won with KLS. You omitted the fact that there was a locker room issue and kls didn't get along with the QB.

No, I didn't omit it. I was talking about the talent and production of a WR that had what PSU lacked and what would have likely happened if that WR, KLS, would have been on the team to add to the team that won those games.

The fact that the team won more games without him was due to the rest of the team maturing and things falling into place on both sides of the ball, but that has nothing to do with the fact that if KLS had been on the team the offense would have been better, likely to the point where PSU would surely have beaten ND, but also PSU might have beaten OSU at home and surely would have beaten Oregon in the B10 championship game. Yep, PSU having a real WR weopon would have taken the offense to the next level.

You're making KLS way better than he is

We had KLS for multiple seasons. He didn't get open against OSU and Michigan during his previous games. I don't think adding him back to the roster for '24 changes that. Could it have? It's an entertaining discussion, but we have actual data points to go off of:

2020: OSU 2 catches, 18 yards. Michigan 0/0
2021: OSU 4/49, Michigan 1/0
2022: OSU 2/58, Michigan
0/0
2023: OSU 6/52, Michigan 1/6.

0 TDs.

While this is certainly better than our WR stat line vs Notre Dame, it certainly doesn't inspire "we beat them with this guy!"
