A lot of people cannot stand Mary, and I can sort of see why. I actually think it is all an act to stir people up. I can envision her sitting back with a bottle of wine and laughing at people’s reactions to her inane comments.

I saw this commercial last night during the MBB game. To me, it’s being disrespectful to their students and professors. It shows all of the students while saying “we all want to change the world”. Then they cut to Saban holding the trophy and then say “but few do”.

Mary has an extremely long posting history on this board. Predates almost all of us. Much of it was before the name change.
Not sure quite why people attack her... her posts are simple.

She is a care giver for Alzheimers patients, which is a difficult job under the best of circumstances and takes a special patience few here appear to have. I think Mary has a good heart and I am glad she remains a part of this board community.
There is a group here that get their kicks by being dicks.
I doubt that Saban give a rats ass about catching Paterno's bowl record. He has already tripled JoePa's NC awards and is on track to surpass Bryant's record at the same school.
Saban is without a doubt the best coach of his era and he isn't done yet.

Saint Nick....Saban is not going anywhere. He is healthy and at the top of his game. I imagine he wins a few more titles before he hangs it up. And no he will not go back to NFL...not gonna happen. he does not need the $ and he gets paid really really well to be in Tuscaloosa.
