NLWC on Rofkin

I have Chromecast, use it for YouTube TV. There was no way (that I saw) to cast the practice last night via Chromecast.

True the primary purpose for the chromecast device is to use the built in streaming apps, but you can also 'cast' to your TV through the chrome cast device via your WiFi network - anything your phone is displaying such as vacation photos, birthday videos, or any streaming video you can access. This is true for android phones, I am not 100% sure about Apple.

For those of you with Roku / Roku TV, download the Web Video Caster Receiver on your tv and on your phone. Open the app on both devices. Go to Rokfin.com within the app on your phone, click on the streaming video (when it’s time) and it should automatically broadcast it to your tv.
I just tried this with the live streaming MWC wrestle off video and it worked great.

Also, I imagine this could work with other smart TVs and such. No need for third party equipment.

I just switched back to Apple, but still have my old Pixel phone... better charge it up!

So much better than watching from my phone! Thanks Goggles/Googles!

Guys the best option if you can spring for $30 is chrome cast. Just cast the video from your phone to the biggest TV you own. I do it all the time. Pictures, videos you have taken, streaming services like Netflix, Rokfin, Flo, youtube, .....

There is still time to run out and get one before this event at your local bestbuy, walmart, target... Just make sure you are connected to wifi to avoid burning through a lot of data.

I have a Samsung phone and TV. Very convenient for casting which I will be doing in a couple of hours. Its going to be awesome to see so many high level matches in one evening!

No audio. I have the video with the matchups on screen and people warming up in the background.

I downloaded an internet browser off of my Amazon Firestick, logged onto rofkin.com, set up a membership and I’m good to go. It was a little tedious inputting info with the Firestick remote. Great picture quality so far.

If I can get this shit to show up on my tv, I’ll be a kid in a candy store. Enjoy this one tonight, pals! The NLWC is one of few places that can make this sort of thing happen. Same to said of the CKWC.

No audio on the prerecorded stuff for me. Where's the closed captioning when you need it.

I am on the computer and it was automatically muted at the start and I had to enable the volume. Just make sure the mute button is not being used on the bottom of the screen. Hopefully that works for you.

You. Are. The. Man.

I've casted in the past on my Roku, and it was always a PITA. And, I always figured there had to be a better way or a better way in the works. Thanks for the info!

I am using Chromecast. Had to disconnect and then reconnect to get audio. Not sure why.
