Indiana and Rutgers tied 16-16 through 184.

19-16 Indiana after Willham beats Janzer on RT point.
And IU up 19-16, w/ Bullock controlling the 1st period 2-0 in the last match.

Now 5-0 in 2nd. McDermott O’Donnell is “one” with the mat.

Tilt, 10-0 going to 3rd. McDermott O’Donnell did a neat air bicycle for a while, though, trying to wriggle out of the tilt.

Oopsie, TF 15-0 with 1:38 left in the 3rd.
Rutger has work to do.

When people complain about baseball being too slow I always bring up how long it takes to play the final 2 minutes of any basketball game. Hell, Akron had a 40 point lead and they still dragged it out for over 10 minutes here.

You know, I was thinking about how people are always complaining about how wrestling needs rules changes. How about disallowing fouls and timeouts in the last 2 mins of a basketball game if the point differential is 20+?

Rock Harrison on the mic — nice.

Cannon out to a 2-0 lead on Schriever in the 1st. Stall on Schriever. Cannon rides him out, 1:43 RT.

Cannon takes bottom in 2nd.
Escape, 3-0.
Cannon in on low single, but Schriever hangs OOBs and works to a stalemate.
Cannon shot defended, Schriever counter-shot defended. Period ends 3-0.

Schriever chooses neutral in 3rd.
Cannon in on single, stuffed, stalemated.
Shriever in on a shot, defended, stalemated.
0:40 left.
Stall on Cannon. He shoots, but no dice.

Match ends 3-1 Cannon.

141 - Woods vs Tal-Shahar

1st: Woods w/ quick TD, 2-0.
Woods working a wing, converts it to a tilt for 4, goes up 6-0.
Trap-wrist tilt for 4, now 10-0.
Stall on Tal-Shahar.
Another trap-wrist tilt for 4, period ends 14-0.

2nd: Tal-Sahar chooses neutral.
Tal-Shahar for low single, can’t get it.
Woods goes for duck, Tal-Shahar bucks into him for TD, 14-2.
Escape, 15-2. Period ends.

3rd: Woods takes bottom.
Immediate escape, 16-2.
Woods w/ big knee wrap, BTW. Gas seems to be fading.
He just needs to hold on though, because a RT point is locked.
And that’s it. 17-2 Woods.

149 - Thomas vs Murin

1st: Murin comes out clubbing, Thomas just taking it. Thomas works a 2-on-1 a bit, but nothing comes of it. Thomas standing straight up, just chilling out, saving gas for later. He knows this one is going OT. Period ends 2-0 after Thomas defends a shot.

2nd: Thomas takes bottom.
Thomas stands, Murin clings, they get to OOB, Thomas tosses him, but they go out. Results in an Escape point for Thomas, 1-0.
Nothing further, period ends 1-0.

3rd: Murin takes bottom.
3 mat returns.
Escape, 1-1.
1:00 remaining.
Thomas almost with a snatch single, bit no dice. 0:20 left.
TD Thomas, immediate Escape Murin, 3-2.
Thomas runs, wins 3-2.
Brands now challenging the TD.
TD confirmed, Thomas takes it in a smart one.

157 - Chumbley vs Siebrecht

1st: Collar ties, pushing. Chum shot stuffed, stalemated. More collar ties, Sieb w/ a slick slide by, 2-0.
Northwestern thinks they saw locked hands, video review. No locked hands.
Escape, 2-1. Period ends that way.

2nd: Chum takes bottom.
Stand-up, mat return, OOB.
Caution on Chum on restart.
Escape, 2-2.
Not much after that, except Sieb hits slide-by w/ 2 secs left, got behind, but couldn’t get him down before period ends.

3rd: Sieb takes bottom.
Escape, then TD Sieb. 5-2.
Escape Chum, 5-3.
0:20 left.
Chum oh-so-close to a TD, but Siebrecht rolls through to hold on 5-3.
